The IBM® Informix® Choice Edition enables you to develop and deploy low-cost, enterprise-class functionality for departmental or small- and medium-sized business solutions.

An Informix Choice Edition is available for either a Windows® environment or an Apple® Mac OS X environment. Each edition is limited to 8 cores over a maximum of 2 sockets and 8GB of memory.

• Delivers easier use of location-based data in an SOA environment with the Web Feature Service API. Includes high-availability features such as continuous log restore, and point-time instance-wide restore, table-level backup and recovery.
